There are 15 standards that attendees need to achieve in order to gain the Care Certificate and these care standards are:

understand your role, your personal development, duty of care, equality and diversity, work in a person centered way, communication, privacy and dignity, fluids and nutrition, awareness of mental health, dementia and learning disability, safeguarding adults, safeguarding children, basic life support, health and safety, handling information and infection prevention and control. We at Safety Training Ltd provide this course throughout Yorkshire and surrounding areas to the highest quality standard, ensuring attendees are well educated upon all of the subject matters. Prior to course commencement, if requested we can tailor the delivery to make content more relevant to your work place, the maximum amount of attendees allowed is twelve as it maximizes the learning focus upon each attendee.

The duration of our course varies upon each attendee’s circumstance. The care certificate, on average takes twelve weeks to complete. Our course covers the 15 care standards underlined by the Health Education England and Skills for Care. Our course develops skills needed for someone to work in the health and social care sector. However, we offer an all-in-one in-house training week in which each of the 15 standards of care are covered in detail so that staff are best prepared to complete their assessment on the 5thand final day.
